∆ عملية تغيير لون العين بالليزر

تعتمد عملية تغيير لون العين على أن الفرق بين ألوان العين المختلفة هو وجود طبقة رقيقة من الصبغة تحت القزحية، فيقوم الأطباء باستخدام شعاع من الليزر يخترق قزحية العين ويقوم بإزالة الصبغة البنية ” الميلانين ” من الطبقة العليا للقزحية، وبذلك يحدث نقص في الميلانين، وبعد مرور عدة أسابيع ” حوالي ثلاثة أسابيع ” يبدأ لون العين في التحول من لونها البني إلى اللون الأزرق

و هناك طريقة أخرى للقيام عملية تغيير لون العين عن طريق استخدام مواد طبية يدخل بها في العين عدسة منطوية تتكون من السيليكون الرقيق الملون باللون الذي يرغب فيه الشخص ، وبعد ذلك تتفتح هذه الغرسة داخل العين لتغطي تماماً قزحية العين الأصلية وبذلك تكتسب القزحية لوناً جديداً .

ويؤكد الأطباء أن في حالة رغبة الشخص في استعادة لون القزحية الأصلية للعين يمكن استخراج هذه العدسة من العين فتعود العين للونها مرة أخرى.

البروفِيسور الدكتور محمد ريلا هو الجراح الهندي المعروف بخبرته في جراحة وزراعة الكبد والمرارة والقناة الصفراوية، أحد كِبار جراحين الكبد في العالم من مستشفى كنجز كولج “King’s College” ، لندن، وقد صنع إسمه في كتاب غينيس للأرقام القياسية لسنة 2000 بعد أن قام بزارعة كبد لطفلة في اليوم الخامس من عمرها في سنة 1997 في مستشفى كنجز كولج.

البروفيسور محمد ريلا رئيس مركز جراحة وزراعـة الكبد والبنكرياس في المدينة الصحية لمستشفيات جلوبل بمدينة تشناي، الهند. كما يعمل أيضاً في مستشفى كنجز كولج، لندن كبفروفيسور قديم.

حصل على بكالوريوس الطب والجراحة ومن ثم ماجستير الجراحة من كلية ستانلي الطبية جامعة مدراس، تشيناي عام 1982، بعدها غادر إلى المملكة المتحدة ليحصل على زمالة الكلية الملكية للجراحين.
